Corn Chips are no place for a Mighty Warrior

Sorry, I just figured that I’d try something funny and random for the title this week, so there you have it. If I remember correctly, it comes from Homestar Runner.

Anyway, this week has been pretty exciting. First off, and most importantly, we got transfer news… Anyone want to hazard a guess at what is going to be happening this transfer? Absolutely nothing. Hooray! We thought that they would likely be splitting our area, but it turns out that they’ve decided to wait. So, here we are, hanging out in our own little area for another six weeks. We’re both excited about it.

In other news, we went to a greatly awesome fireside in Scottsdale on Sunday night, where the director and lead actor from the Joseph Smith movie spoke. It was great stuff. I got my picture taken with the actor that played Joseph, but it was on someone else’s camera, so I can’t really post it. They should be emailing it to me shortly, and then I’ll have it, but for now, I don’t. Anyway, it was a great fireside that was related to filmmaking (naturally) and the gospel, and they had a really good connection to draw between supporting roles in movies and in real life. It was very enjoyable.

Apart from that, we’ve been having some success here, as well. We’ve been working as hard as we can, and this week we were blessed with some noticeable progress. The last few weeks were really slow, but we’re thinking that it might be picking up a little bit more again, which will be very good. We had a great lesson with a new investigator, a lady named Esmerelda. She’s got a ton of great questions, and she’s been looking for the right church. Anyway, it was an incredible lesson.

Ummm… Yeah. I reckon that I just ran out of things that I was going to say. So, either I’ll have to think of something awfully quickly, or just wrap it up right now. Let’s see….. Just about there…. Yeah, I think that’s it. I can’t think of anything else right now.

Have an awesome week!
